KWerner Vintage Style

So here's what we got:
I really wanted to do something with a dress in it & if I feel up to it, I'll do another one, but I really don't have an appropriate dress stamp set. Although I wish I had velum so I could try this. Anyhow, here is what I came up with. I took & retook the picture several times so you could see the details. I chose to focus on the vintage look of the dress AND striving to make my card look fabric-y. Yes, that's a word. Anyhow, here it is! Very simple, but I like it. *Click to enlarge* Can you see the canvas-ness (another word, I promise) of it?Recipe:
Stamps: Sentiment (I've had forever, one of my first stamps- I got it at a craft store), Together Forever, Canvas BG
Paper: Mellow Moss, Rose Red, Regal Rose
Ink: Markers, River Rock (I don't have Mellow Moss ink- oops! Need to order that, I thought I had them all...?), Regal Rose, Rose Red, VersaMark
Accessories: Heart Punch (Non-SU!), Pewter Hardware, Paper Piercer, Ribbon Originals

Thanks for stopping by friends!

Your card is beautiful!!! Love the way you made the layers softly cascade - it is very fabric-y!!! (and I also love your new word!) :)

Very detailed. Love the layers, it looks very soft and I agree, very 'fabric-y'. cj

Wow Lindsey, this card is just stunning...absolutely love everything about it! I love KW's challenges but I never get around to making something up in time amongst all my other scrappy things I do! Just like surfing the web to see what everyone else does!!!

I love it, I think it takes a talent to make the torn card stock look like art work. I can NOT do it, YOU CAN! This is beautiful.
